Handmade of sturdy card paper by artisans in India
These lanterns are handmade and marbled by artisans in Jaipur, India. The nature of the process to make them is that the paper is first dipped in paint then creased and shaped, which naturally causes some distressing along the crease lines. We consider this part of the character of a handmade object. The lanterns come with magnets for closure but candidly, they aren't super reliable. Small adhesive dots will be included to be used in place of the magnets and can be stuck to the magnet points.
